Blue is the classic trend color for 2020. Pantones 19-4052 is the Classic Blue but what about the original blue tone?

Indigo, the dye created originally from the genus indigofera leaves, has translated fashion trends throughout history with denim making the major statement.

Working for years with denim fabrications has created a love of this organic compound so with a 2020 vision into intimate/sleepwear trending indigo is the perfect blue to project calmness and a sense of tranquility. As a designer, I love send-outs. Not so much as to mess with the production but because send-outs can create a different vibe from all the other storyboards hitting the retailers, buyers, sales teams looking for new.

Design Note: When working with any fabric dye with screenprint overlays, remember knowing how the final silhouette transfers to production is a key factor when cutting thousands of garments, so follow through with sample construction and a full comprehensive cost sheet for your production team.
