Too beautiful to throw away!

The Kitch Pile

Designers always have a stash; you know the one, the pile of trims and laces that are just too beautiful to throw away. While we are stuck in the home office, going through those trims may be just what is needed to stimulate the senses. This beautiful trim applique was one of the pieces that found its way back into the office; it was still stapled to the brown cardboard backing one of many pieces purchased at a vintage trim show. It turned out to be way too expensive for the collection, but it did inspire a flocking pattern for a lingerie velvet five-piece set, so the purchase was worth the investment.
