The fairy tale dressmaker is moving into a new studio soon.
The original fairy tale began with a gift of vintage tulle that over the years became a part of a collection of lost jewels, ribbons and lace; pieces of a designer’s life not to be thrown away. One day there was a whisper and some fine tunes coming from the backyard mockingbirds singing about a faerie tale ball on a summertime eve and how the faeries love to take or should we say steal laces and trims and tulle oh so fine for the making of fairy tale dresses divine. Creating ball gowns is an intricate process, the faerie defines the dress to be worn, they are not sewn but held together with the knowledge they will fade overtime but with care they may last forever. The ball gowns are designed for the faeries wearing it. The magic comes from finding them later after the dance ends with the rising of the sun. The original fairy tale dresses are sometimes given away but a few are going into the shop. Look for more information in your STYLENOTES.
